OK so what is going to be the next knife you buy? not one you have always dreamed out or the one that is on your list and you will buy, but the one you have the money for now and are just waiting to place to order for some reason.

here is mine. Well at least i am hoping it will be the next one. not going to buy anything else before it.

The next knife I buy will be on May 14th, at the NCCA Show in CT. I've been saving my money for months , selling off some production knives from my collection to raise even more cash, to BUY a high-end custom auto. I don't know what I'll end up with yet, but it will be the MOST expensive knife in my collection to date. :-D

Either one of these would make me happy.

Komodo - they would make me happy too...Very Nice.

My next knife will be whatever Dalton makes. I'm so fuckin sick I buy them all.

I need to see a knife counseler or join AA - Auto's Anonymous...There must be a treatment...I know I am not suffering alone with this illness.

I even bought a couple of PT's and MTs recently...To far gone for treatment...Think I'll just buy another knife. Probably cheaper than therapy anyway...

I saw that on the cover of Blade mag and thought the same thing. Then I read the article and they're asking $250 (MSRP) for it, a little too much IMO.

Let me give you a piece of advice LW.

Don't buy crap knives.

Now that you are working and will be spending the money you make, take the time to save up. Even if it is only $40.00 a month or less, save and buy a good knife. It would take you around half the year to save to buy a Sebenza or similar and you would be much better off. If you can't wait that long, you'd have a Spyderco Civilian in two or three months.

Trust me on this one (I've bought more than my share of "Cool, what's next?" knives to know better now."

Save and buy quality.

Good advice to live by. Its best to buy the best that you can afford or you will be taking a loss later whenever you sell.

I'm actually trying my best to not buy any knives. There's several I really want, of course, but none that I really need (and I mean "need" in the same sense that all of us "need" more knives). The Dalton Jackal I just got doesn't count, since I truely needed a Dalton in my collection.

Instead, right now, I'm looking at lights. I didn't think anything could be as addicting or money-consuming as lights, but I might be wrong. Still, I don't think I'll be as badly addicted with lights as I am with knives. After all, I only need to try out a Surefire L1, an HDS Basic 42GT, a Jil 1.3 Intelli with a CAB, and replace my old L2 with a new 100 lumen L2.

Bali in the works, I sold my tachyon like a dumbass long ago but I've been looking at more , Korth was at the top of the list till I found out Darrel has started using the IKBS so I just ordered a darrel Ralph VIII bali today.
I think his new Balis start a $385.00 with the IKBS

yup sweet knife,
i first hold a proto design model at a spiderco preview meeting, and i all ready liked it. ( one off the very few models i really liked )
the made in taiwan, normaly i don't mind, iff well made, but in this case, a model named after one off the big names in US knife history,
yeah, it would have looked a lot nicer on the blade

Nice congretulations witch build year ?

At the price I paid for NIB it didn't matter.
From the sheath and box I'm guessing mid 80's.

I'll update with the real year when it gets here.
