When I was in Kosovo, my unit was getting relieved by the Army's 82nd Airbourne Division. When clearing his M-4 before coming into the compound, some idiot Captian accidentally shot it. We thought we were getting shot at by some drunken Serbs, but no, it was a stupid Army officer. That night I lost any concept that the 82nd was "elite."
