This thread concerns a problem with a member on another forum - I don't know if this person is registered on Jerzee Devil, but I wanted to post the info as a warning to people here. Moderators, if this is inappropriate, feel free to delete this post.

I previously made a post asking for advice on this situation - I purchased a Bradley Mayhem from a member on Microholics named tracy_rene, sent a money order, and the seller broke off communication after promising to ship the knife.

As of yesterday (7/25/07), it has been 3 weeks since the promised ship date, and I have not received an answer to my e-mails since that day either. The seller's name is tracy_rene, his/her name is Tracy Smith, e-mail address is jade_leanna@yahoo.com. For now I will leave out the seller's mailing address, but if anyone thinks they might be dealing with the same individual under a different screen name, I would be happy to provide it.

If anyone has any information about this seller, or if they have had a successful transaction with this seller, please let me know. I would also like to say that I would not like anyone send nasty e-mails to the seller in question. I am bummed about not getting the knife, but this post is meant as a warning to avoid business with this seller, not an invitation to attack them. The e-mail address is included in case the seller decides to re-register with a new screen name. If I ever do receive the knife, or if there are any updates to this situation, I will post them promptly. Thanks - Jim

3 weeks is enough time to wait and be w/o money or communication.

Mike has pinned my post at the top, but I have been e-mailing this seller almost daily for several weeks and getting no reply. No knife either. :cry:
I take heart in the fact that I only lost $165, but it still sucks.

Yikes, I was contemplating purchasing a Strider from this person! Sorry to hear of your grief!

Did you contact the MO issuer to see if anything can be done? One more reason to use Bank Issued Cashier's checks (my bank will do a chargeback).

i need to get on it this week - I've heard the post office makes it difficult, but at least I kept the receipt and the stub just in case.... I'm really more surprised because I have NEVER had a bad experience on any of the forums 'til now. - Jim
