That ain't no ordinary VW... I'm willing to bet them Tennessee Ridge Runners would 'smoke' that Texas Viper right off the line! :D

There was i guy about 15 years ago here in my area where i live that had a VW Beetle that had a 454 Chevy Big Block in it mounted in the front and boy it turned heads when he showed up at the dragstrip!! :devil:

Back when we used to race , there was a Father / Son team that did beetles with beetle van motors that would run in the 10's.
Third gear wheelies and the goldamnedst thing you ever saw.
They were hard on parts , but just a blast to watch and probably more fun to drive.

For some perspective , we had a 12.0 second big block powered Mercury Cyclone that wasn't slow........them little bugs went like hell !
