Allright, so I have jsut been finding all sorts of cool ilegal shit online...
When I was in high school we used to make flash powder, similiar to black powder but MUCH MUCH faster buring, it is made from Potassium Perchlorate and aluminum powder.
See, my friend, his dad was a pyrotechnics expert, he did the major shows in DC a couple times, but he had the powders youd need, I thought I would never be able to get those powders easily, and somehow last week I was on ebay and damned if there arent two people each selling one ingreident, cheeap too, like under $100 for a few POUNDS of flash powder after you mixed it. I might try it again sometime, love those bangs.
Only takes a few grams of powder for quarter stick salutes, so thats a ton, also found a US site that sells fuse and the cardboard tubes with end caps and waterproof fuse. Easy as pie, my uncle used to buy some of these years ago, cost a ton, but cheap to make yourself. Very loud, like window rattling from a quarter mile away, car alarms, the whole nine...
Eventually we starting buying threaded steel pipe, thus the pipebomb, Talk about a bomb, serioulsy loud, hear it for a good mile , more maybe, no destructive power really though, shrapnel of course though.
And just FYI, it is beyond dangerous to make flash powder, foolish even if you know how to handle it, static can ingnite it by spark it is so flamable. First I was burned up to my Elbow third degree, then I was arrested for pipebombs. WAY under 18 then so it mattered not, but just wanna warn someone...and I made a complete recovery though the docs told my rents that I might lose fingers...but man is it fun to make loud noises.
Just in case someone else is a pyromaniac :-D
here is a site that sells exploding targets, like shooting targets, but I read on a pyro forum that one target ripped a three foot diameter rock into a few pieces, and a washing machine to small bits, very cool looking, cheap too, anyone have some of these already? they are still legal for now
