I recently commissioned and received a JRE sheath for my Rogue Bowie. Someone on KF had shown off his and I was immediately enthralled.
For those of you that have a Rogue, you know that the sheath that comes with it is nice and in a classic style. I liked it well enough and have carried it like that.
But, this new sheath is basically a huge Aurora sheath. Very well made and put together, with cool extra bits. Aside from the main belt loop, there is a second leather loop to run cord through, for baldric carry, and on mine there is a D-ring through that hoop, for alternate baldric carry or other interesting options. There is a firesteel holder (just like on the Aurora). I also asked them to stamp a Celtic knot into the front, near the mouth of the sheath.
I am very, very pleased with this sheath and cannot wait to actually be able to go out into the "wilderness" and have some fun.
Now, here are some pics...possibly all you've been waiting for during my long diatribe. :)
