Here is part of a series I am doing on Deadeye. She's a great subject, full of personality and beauuuutiful too. Let me know what you think! Here is the first photo there will be more to come.

This photo sounds just like dead eye, I am sure this is something she would do if one of us devils was to stop by, I wonder if she ever puts the eye in the hole in the sweatshirt over her left boob :bwah:

Actually, that's where I hang my phone :jdwink2: I leave my eye by the sink ... :D:

what an excellent photo.

Nigel_Hell is an amazing photographer. I hope the subject matter isn't offensive, I don't take my eye out normally, but this is serious art to us. This shot is so beautiful & well taken it transcends everyday considerations. We understand one another. It is an honor to be the subject of this series.

Actually if you mean proper as in film I have to tell you this is a digital image. I am a traditionally trained photographer though and am an excellent black and white printer (if I do say so myself) but chemical sensitivity led me to digital and if you do digital properly and know your aesthetic you can create images that are equal to or greater than the quality of film. Thanks for the compliment!

I'm not really into art... I like pixs of horse racing, dogs, knives and pixs on black velvet, but the first photo of Deadeye speaks volumes to me!

Thanks Clydetz - Nigel_Hell is submitting this series for a spot in a
photo exhibition out west - so we're hoping they speak to the judges, also.

You mean it's NOT a 6" x 4" Glass Plate? :spin:

What I meant was that it is nice to see Monocolour images that have not been digitally enhanced to death.

A striking composition wins hands down every time!

You make me blush, thank you. I hope the jurors in Santa Fe share your opinion.

Thanks Manganr. I checked out your photos link, thsoe are some nice shots of some cool knives.

Wonderful!!!!:ssmile:

Marie you avatar gets me everytime. Your eyes are so intense in it. Did you shoot it yourself? Thanks for commenting on my work! Deadeye is a wonderful model and her life makes great subject matter. You can see it all in her eyes as well.

Blogflogger you are damn right about that. Composition is the backbone of imagery, w/out it I usually don't even give an image a second glance. Thank you!

Thank you, Nigel....yes, I did take the shot myself. Cheap, crappy digital camera, though, and I'm surprised it came out as well as it did.:ropeman:

I agree with you about Deadeye, too.:jdwink2:
