what brand?
I used to smoke Export A Kings. Sometimes for a treat, I'd buy a pack of Marlboro Reds or Winstons, but they were expensive and you have a hard time finding Marlboros in this province for some obscure reason.

Marlboro UltraLights and cigars on occasion. One of the last vices I have :)

Ms. Pumpkin,
I quit the cigs 24 years ago when I knew I still had a good chance before the addiction really set in. What really helped was watching my Dad chain smoke those damn Pall-Mall non-filters to the tune of 4 packs a day. His morning ritual consisted of coughing and hacking up all kinds of colours and various chunks of lung tissue until he could calm down enough to light that first cancer stick of the day. When dear ol' Pop's finally gave up the ghost back in 95', the pathologist was so impressed with his lung cancer during the autopsy, he took a sample for his private collection. Whats kind of weird is after all these years after quitting, I still get a craving for a smoke now & then.
Best regards,
Bonz
Really? Never bothers me. I don't care if other people smoke around me, either. Lot's of ex-smokers get real fanatical about it.

Ms. Pumpkin,
Well I hope you don't think I'm one of those self righteous types. I quit for my sound mind and physical health and well being. It twasn't easy mind you, but I bought a pound of this really good Humboldt County CA homegrown weed, and rolled the whole thing into joints, and everytime I wanted a cig, I'd spark up a doobie (so much for the sound mind). Lets just say after that experience, I rarely ever smoke the shrub anymore as well.
Best regards,
Bonz
PS- I still drink like a fish, and go to unruly rock & roll shows at my tender age of 44.

I smoked off and on for years.....I'm off them again for hockey season , but next time I have to travel with my Father it will be ciggies or smack.
Love him , but he drives me bat shit.
Cowboy killers for the E.D.S. ( every day smoke ) and something non filtered when I am feeling saucy. Usually Camels , but occasionally an import.
That is the last vice I practice , because I don't view the rest of my bad habits as vices !

Gave up cigerettes back in the Army, cut too deeply into my beer money.

Half a pack of Belmonts or duMauirer a day (on average) but in the past week I'm down to about 5 - 8 smokes a day. I've gone down from a pack a day to that.
I smoke a lot of non-tobbaco products, if it wasn't already obvious :smt033

I would reccomend getting a nice bubbler, most likely a sherlock bubbler, like here. http://www.glasspipes.org/Gal1933_Inside-Out_Sherlock_Bubbler.asp
i have actually been to his shop and the glassware in rediculously awesome. The sherlock can be carried around the house and is much easier to conceal than a bong. and it fits in the hand so nicely.
here is a link to a listing of all of his stuff.

Cigars when I want but at $5.00 or more its not often. Dad smoked Pall Malls and he would cough 30 minutes or more before he could smoke his first one. I grew tobacco years ago and I know what shit we put in it. Tobacco good, additives bad. Try Dunhill cigs, they are mild and good.

Me too! (Basic 100's) 3 packs a day. I smoked Marlboro for 20+ years, but they got too expensive. I switched over to Basic a couple of years ago after the last time I "quit".
Pumpkin, if you want to get them even cheaper, go to Basic's site www.smokersignup.com and fill out the questionaire. They'll start sending you packs of $4 off coupons! Have B do it too, and you'll get twice as many coupons.

I can smoke almost anything! I don't smoke and have not in a long time! I look cool when I smoke and have a kick ass collection of lighters! I will smoke when I drink, also not very often! When I grow up I hope to be a crack whore! I hate others cig smoke, and want to put there cigs out on there forehead when I have to smell there smoke. When I drink and smoke it is different, my smoke does not smell bad? When I was younger I smoked for a couple years. This I am very proud of as I am just the right height now. I am glad I am not any taller or my pants would be too short!! :kingkaxt: :help:

Mr. Outsider,
Actually, Wally is the one who sent me the new forum alert. Of course, he refuses to post until his avatar and self portrait are set up. Greetings, Mr. Doofus Emeritus-
Yep, I have arrived. You were right about that damned feeble gramps. Gee whiz, for a guy whose been using his finest attribute to produce pre-digested art for all these decades, you'd think he'd finally know how to operate the orfice, but no...gramps always seems to miss the target hole, and that makes granny mad when she goes through the seat a-scuba-ing still looking for the monocle I dropped en-spasm last year. That was before my ol' pal Bonzo gifted me with that handmade plywood eye, of course. But back to thread query. My favorite gaspers are the exclusive handrolled spikes expertly crafted by Dr. Yermazaho's anestheseologist, Dr. Wheezy. He uses only the finest combination of sun dried urinal tobacco shreds, with just the right lint blend for savory flavor. Yummy, just the thing to set ya' right after a fine repast of state mandated LSD spam jelly and mothball croutons. On every other Friday, we might get a cup of sterno cabernet colored with dissolved airwick strips. Now that's living!!
AS ever,
Your ol' pal,
Wally J. Corpse
P.S. How come you never visit me like you promised? There's an open invitation to spend a few years, oopsie, I mean hours with your ol' pal,
right here in the twitch and drool wards' luxurious dank suite.

That my dear depends on the bong. Not that this part has todo anything with the sound it makes, I don't a bong with a shotty (or choke, if you may) on it unless it's an extraordinary glass piece. I prefer a pullshaft, just because you can control the smoke much better, and of course, you always need to put in another stem for poppers :D
Right now I don't even have a bong, only my glass pipe. I need my own bong again, ever since my all glass bong stem decided to crack on me :(

Pumpkins means a carb hole, yeah that is quiet, but a pull off, you just pull the bowl right off and clear it by pulling fresh air through the water...loud part is clearing it.

Okay so i wonder howmany of the devils are smokers....
But here is the Kicker...what do you smoke?
Pipe?
Cigar?
Cigarettes?
Other:madaddy: ?
if yes to any or all what is your favorite and why?
for me i like a pipe and a cigar(not at the same time mind you)
The cigar for me is a way to really relax and take some time to look at my world. My favorite is the Drew Estates La Vieja Habana, with a close second being Gran Habano No.3s
As far as pipes go...I like my meerschuams really well they smoke smooth and age well and my tabacco of choice is Isacc's Blend. Now i dont smoke Cigarettes cuz i quit that habit 4 years ago and i dont dip cuz i buried 2 friends from it and as for Other:madaddy: being in my profession dont make for good idea to do that!

I'm not a smoker, if you are, God love ya, I got enough vices to worry about. I hate the smell of cigarette, cigar and pipe smoke. Asthma doesn't help either. A friend of mine in high school actually told me a certain type of weed was good for asthma. He wasn't too bright.
But whenever I stop in a cigar shop (a few friends smoke cigars, and I pick them up cigars, cigar cutters etc as gifts, thinking about getting an AG Russell cigar cutter for a buddy) the shop smells so good! I love the smell of a cigar shop!
Light those stinky bastards up though, ugh! Smoking wet garbage.
Story time. My father used to have a big bushy beard. When he was about my age, he was at his friends house, drinking beer. My father used to smoke big cigars, I don't know what kind. Anyway, my fathers friend said "Y'know what, you look like an actor smoking that cigar." My father, proud, asked who.
"Lassie taking a shit!"

yeah... mine too. its funny, when i was younger, i remember moving a picture from a wall in my house and still seeing the outline from where it was. and my mother had these antique lace curtains that she would take down and handwash. they would turn the water brown! it was them and my 2 older brothers that would smoke in the house. my backpack always smelled too and gave me a complex in school. :ssad: mom smoked benson & hedges lights and pop smoked pall mall reds. he was the worst. would light one w/ the one he was finishing. i guess that is what turned me off to smoking at a young age. it is not an easy habit to break. i feel for those who smoke and want to give it up. i have seen how hard it is.

Please; could somebody tell me what's the meaning of the acronym PCP ?
PCP (phencyclidine) is classified as a hallucinogen and has many of the same effects as LSD, but can be much more dangerous. In the 1950's, PCP was investigated as an anesthetic, but due to its severe side effects, its development for human use was discontinued. PCP is known for inducing violent behavior and for inducing negative physical reactions such as seizures, coma, death. There is no way to predict who will have a bad reaction to the drug. Maybe this is because PCP has so many faces--it acts as a hallucinogen, stimulant, depressant, and anesthetic---all at the same time.
In its original state, PCP is a white crystalline powder. PCP is available in tablet, liquid, and powder forms and is either ingested orally or smoked by applying the liquid form to tobacco or marijuana cigarettes or by lacing these and other cigarettes, sometimes containing herbs such as mint or parsley, with PCP powder.
I personally smoke cigarettes and weed daily, although on a somewhat small scale. I have dropped down to 1/4 to 1/2 a pack of reds a day and usually smoke a bowl a day. So compared to what I used to smoke this ain't shit.

Sausage, fish, chicken and jalapenos. ;)
My wife's mother smoked. When she died, we cleaned her apartment. I thought the walls were tan. They were, in reality, powder blue.
I'll stick with the food.

Food will kill you just as fast as smoking these days, if not quicker and more painful.

I quit everything else a long time ago adn started smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee to substitute the beer et al :kingkaxt: . The cigarettes got replaced w/ cigars, but i still drink a coupla pots of coffee a day.
Side note-
We had a professor at the university I used to work at that got his job back in the 60s when smoking was "ok"
He is the head of the department now and has been smoking in that same office for 40+ years. Nobody has enough clout to make him stop now, and when visiting his office the walls are a dull pale yellow tho the paint is off white.
You can smell it outside the building.

:eric: Hee hee ... uh ... burn it ...
I've smoked 2 or 3 pks/day for about 40 years ... Today it's Marlboro Ultras. I actually quit last April for surgery but I got so bored not being able to see I started again ...
I only smoke weed to be polite. If we're at a party or opening and the kids are passing, I'll take a hit but it's not something I seek out.
I got nasty habits, I take tea at 3 ... I get chest xrays far too often - but I don't do LSD ...

I have been smoking American Spirit lights. I used to be a 2 pack a day smoker. Down to half a pack for the last year or two. I've been taking this new medication to quit for about a week now. Its called "Chantix" . I believe the way its supposed to work is that when you smoke a cigarette it blocks the pleasure you derive from nicotene and once the pleasure is gone...you quit. Tomorrow is my quit day. And I have been advised to never admit to smoking pot.

I gave up cigarettes three years ago, but still smoke a pipe. I have nearly 100 pipes I've accumulated over the years, some I made myself from briar blocks. I smoked vanilla cavendish for a number of years, but recently changed to a blend of Maryland and Virginia leaves called Mellow Blend. There really is much more pleasure from a pipe as opposed to cigarettes in my opinion.:wes:

Some friends turn out to be assholes. That was rude.
I smoke pipes and cigars. I have several Dunhill and Charitan pipes and many other of better quality. I like the bigger bent, blast pipes. My favorite cased tobak was discontinued and have had a hard time finding a replacement. Of the English type tobaks I like Frog Morton or just about anything with latakia.
For cigars I like the milder blends with Partegas and Monticristo being favorites.
I haven't had a fag in 14 years but smoked Marlboro Lights when I did.

I smoke cigars pretty regularly....almost daily....too many that I like to name them all....just looking at the bands I have kept it's well over 40....will try a pipe someday soon.
Never had a single interest in smoking a cigarette, my mother, father, step father, uncle and grandfather all smoked around me when growing up and it eventually repulsed me, I always hated smelling like cigarette smoke....
I have only ever smoked weed 3 times and it just made me lame and sleepy.

Cigs, yep. Regular filter kings.
Cigars, yep. Mainly Habanos by way of Hong Kong.
Pipes, yep. Usually Dunhill 965 in J. M. Boswell handmade pipes.
I used to chew, and sometimes I really get the urge, but thats some bad shit. I miss the real chew the most, Applejack, Beechnut, stuff like that.

I tried a vaporizer, didn't do it for me, I still prefer water filtered...
Thanks for all the offers on glassware, but I am just too lazy to go down to Venice Beach on the weekends and haggle with the venders down there...
If I really had time, I would actually prefer to put it in food... but dunno how to cook and don't know how much to put in.
Yea there are a lot that waste your bag, but there are some really good ones too. i for one like http://www.volcanovaporizersystem.com/ its pricey but worth it. Clean, Crisp, and facemelting. plus you can save all your vaped green and cook out the rest of the cannaboids into butter or oil, store it and use in your favorite recipes.
Sometimes you can't beat burning one down, but if you are an active stoner (hike, bike, whatever) it helps keep your lungs healthier than burning all the time.
Oh, and vaporizers should only be used with sativa, or indica (sinsemellia). No dirt weed allowed.:devilzide
P.S this is just information, i have never actually smoked marijuana.

I buy Fleur du Pays and put it in Rizla tubes. I buy it on credit from Renée DuBois' little smoke shop in the village. Settle with her once a month. As for other smoke, it is hard to find good grass here. Hash is an easy score. The local antique dealer, for whom I repair broken cast iron, gave me an old Chinese Opium pipe... He said he had the feeling that I was the only person in the village who would have a use for it!

I've been a fairly die - hard cigar smoker for some years. However, I haven't smoked in almost three months and don't know when (or if) I'll start again. It just sort of happened by accident. I couldn't smoke for a week because of a sore throat, and after that I just didn't feel like it any more. Weird. :bluedevil:

I have a suggestion for a cigar trade
let everyone who wants to be in say so.
Draw names and pair people up and let them send 3 or 5 sticks to each other and report back on the smokes
I think that would be easier than a pass around and less work

well, they can cost some money but there are some good smokes out there for decent prices.
two that come to mind are the Oliva Serie G cameroon. It can be had for around $3, usually a little less
the other is The Brick from Carlos Torano. They are about $2 a stick
there are a few bargains out there which is something I usually learn when doing these swaps

I used to enjoy smoking the occasional Macanudo and Cohiba pequenos, but cost have kept them to few and far between. I've mostly smoked Hav-a-Tampa Jewels Sweet cigars, but since they closed the plant in Florida last year, and moved it to Puerto Rico, they don't taste or smell the same, and the price has doubled over the last few years, so I've cut back on them...

Marlboro Reds are my all time favorite. But up here in Canada smokes are a fucking ass rape.
My favorite pricey ass Canadian brands. Commonly known as "White man" smokes. Due to the market of Native Reserve smokes. ($30 CDN a carton as opposed to $60 - $80 a damn carton)
John Player Special aka Blackdeath
Dumaurier Red aka Canada's Marlboro.
(If you ever have a pack of Dumaurier turn the logo upside down & tell me what you see.)
Export A - aka Greendeath
Peter Jackson
Craven A Menthol - The only damn Menthols I've ever been able to smoke other the Kools. I'm not a fan of them.
No one who hasn't been to Canada will ever hear of these but my favorite "Nish" smokes. (yes, Nish in Canada is considered politically correct, say anything else including Indian & you can get charged with a hate crime)
