Now if it was a rib eye in the left hand and a worm in the bottom of the bottle , it would have a certain " wagon's ho " je nes' e qua .

I never fully trusted a man who walked around with a bottle of white wine while wearing a hat and sunglasses and no wine glases! With that being said... Umberto does look splendiferous, though!

That would be Rock'n'Roll Animal... and c'mon... they look nothing alike, except that they are wearing make up. I am SO glad that I was NOT a minor rock star during that period of about 6 or 8 months when every damned singer or group that put out an album was coerced by their record companies to pose in glitter and make-up to look as faggy as possible. It's not like the New York Dolls sold so many albums that there was anything to gain - though David Bowie did make a splash at that time.
It was that one little sliver of the glam rock era when it was mandatory to pose in drag. It was kinda like later when Billy Joe and Linda Rondstadt, curse them both, had to do "new wave punk rock" albums to stay in vogue.
Neither Edgar Winter nor Lou Reed needed to do the glitter thing, but both were unfortunately photographed in drag for album covers.
Edgar, though, DID get involved in Dianetics or Scientology a few years later, which is even worse. At least brother Johnny was only into Seconal and booze. I guess we all have our foibles and demons.
