OH, fuckin' hell. Dude doesn't need to get me started on this subject. If it were up to retards like this guy, we'd all live in padded cells and eat macrobiotic food and antibiotic pills. Those folks knew the risks, and it was their right to choose to take them. Just like it should be to ride without a helmet, or a seatbelt, or pick your danger. Fuck him. Fuck him in the eye.

There are dumbasses who get behind the wheel and turn their vehicles into moving weapons every day, too. A hell of a lot more of them die every day, should we stop driving cars too? Again, fuck that guy.

And it's D'Iberville you cod sucking wetbrain, not "Diberville".

Just the fact that he seems to get such a kick out of the misfortune of others makes me want to stove his head in with an I.B.M. Selectric.
There are a lot of columnists who seem to have an arrogance that tells me they have no real life experiences , and need to rip on the habits and hobbies of others to make them selves feel better about being totally inept at everything except maybe spelling.
How they get work in major markets is a prime example of the power of fellatio.
This guy is , and I have to paraphrase Bobby " the Brain " Heenan here .........a hootwinkle jerkwinkle.
To wipe my ass with his cloumn would be an insult to my shit.

Perhaps we could coax him into going on a little hunting expedition to try and "change his views" :thefinger

"Watch yourself. Elmer Fudd is in the woods. He’s armed and most likely, he’s also drunk."

Talk about a turkey's ass hole. Geez.

We should send him an email saying that we eat Bambi here, but then you know what would follow...

Big John:

Here is the text of an e-mail that I sent to the Boston Globe to complain about the insensitive comments of their columnist:

I find Howie Carr's commentary on 11/24/2006 "Take cover, hunting season is here" is one of the worst, poorly written comments about the perils of hunting I have ever read; anywhere. Mr. Carr should be reprimanded and be required to apologize for his insensitive comments about some of the tragedies including death and serious injuries fail miserably, in my opinion, to convey any message at all.

If perhaps Mr. Carr was intending his column to be a humorous jibe that guns, alcohol, and hunters don't mix - he could have shown more sensitivity to the victims and families of those he mentions.

If Mr. Carr's literary style typifies the sophmoronic (my word juvenile and moronic) news reporting and opinions of the Boston Globe then I am glad that I don't subscribe.

Respectfully but with incredulous misbelief that you actually published his comments,

Tim Hecht

The moral of the story ought to be, we are all human and we all make stupid mistakes from time to time. Sometimes it happens when you have a loaded gun.

Sometimes stupid people like to hunt... or drive or...

We are all human, to be human is to err...:bang:

Well said, Mr. Hecht.

One of my friends just happens to live down the road from the boy in Minnesota. His funeral was yesterday. Her son and he were good buddies, grew up together, and talked enthusiastically about their deer hunting this year. The boy is devastated and may not hunt deer again. One of the bad things was the shooter had been drinking and had a history of DUI.

This idiot Howie Carr likes to make generalizations like: "Elmer Fudd is in the woods. He’s armed and most likely, he’s also drunk."

Well, I'll take that as an invitation to offer my own generalization:

Howie Carr is a journalist so he's most likely a liberal anti-gun faggot. :firedevil

Well, according to a knifefourms poster, Howie a conservative journalist. He's still a prick.

I was just reading in the Seattle Magazine about a group of gays, headed up by a gay Marine, that call themselves the "Pink Pistols" and are a pro-gun, shooting organization. He got a lot of inspiration from a group of gay Marine, Viet Nam vets. I suppose they keep their guns in the closet.
