Knifewise ;) its a Strider AR some of the time, a Lg, Reg Sebbie in a belt pouch at others, and an Al Mar SERE 2k for a bit more discreet carry. Every now and then its the Busse Meaner Street or Active Duty, here its not that unusual to carry a fixed blade thank goodness.

Work, usually a Benchmade 9100SBT.
Not work: right now there is a MT LCC manual, CF with dark bolsters black PE S30V blade. The last few weeks has been a Hinderer Ember Tanto, very cool little blade. Large regular and small classic make it into my pockets every once in a while, as well as a Hinderer Firetac.
Like most around here, I have an EDC rotation. Mine has about a dozen or so knives in it at the moment.
I need to know what y'all is carrying.

I'm currently waiting for my end all, be all to ship which hopefully is today but my usual rotation is this:
Strider SMF, Stock
CRK Regular Sebbie that Matt worked over, it's not so regular anymore
Rick Hinderer FireTac, one of two owned
Strider GB
Strider SnG, both blade styles - it's a little more office safe than the other Striders
Today - Emerson HD-7, I don't care much for the off side grind but I love the wave
Benchmade Gravitator - this is getting to be my go to knife as it's super solid and super pointy
SAK - Climber or Super Tinker, no matter which folder I'm carrying I've ALWAYS got a SAK on me
End All Be All:
Custom Dwyer double ground tanto SMF with Razor wire finish. I had a chisel ground one and traded it because I couldn't bring myself to use something so darn expensive but I got a better deal on this one. Plus I'm thinking the double grind should cut straighter than the chisel grind. Should be here by next week if all goes well. Can't wait. Oh, and I've got some custom SnGs but I prefer the larger profile of the SMF personally.
later,

As the resident cheap skate I carry a Spyderco Endura P/E VG10 and Victorinox Swiss Tool. I have more expensive knives, but I can't bring myself to use them. I think I'd hate myself for scratching anything over $100. And I haven't run into anything this combo can't handle. Maybe a Severtech would work for me since they are so ugly to begin with.

No matter what I try, I always come back to this one. I was carrying the Dodo for a while but found that it was a little rough on the pocket of my shorts. It seems a little too square after all. The Endura, even with its much larger size, carries the best of all.

That sucks. The Al Mar is a kick ass knife. It's rock solid, stays sharp for quite a while, and it won't break the bank like those sebbies, and D/As. I've carried mine for almost a year, which is a while for me since I've only been into knives for about 2 or 3 years. If you look in the "Trixie's first knife" thread you'll see a link (posted by Mike Stewart) to an in-depth review of the knife.

Spyderco Police Model with VG10 blade and carbon fiber handles. To me, any complaints I had about the original stainless version(too heavy and edgeholding not the best) have clearly been rectified with this version. It's the first knife I put in my pocket, as soon as I get out of the Govt building I work at(they have a no knife policy in effect).

Raoul...
Well EDC comfort depends upon the pants you are wearing, it is very thick, see below pic. I haven't found a use for the sharpened choil. No blade play at all. It makes a good chopper as it is blade heavy, but the clip is rather long and can be uncomfortable when using various grips. On that subject, one of the clips screws is also a pivot screw, so not sure if removing the clip would be ok, as the screw may end up being too long without it...I will have to look into this.

Robert, sand the G10 lightly and it will smooth up some and stay grippy, As for the lock sticking - it's new, it ought to wear in a little soon. You may want to spray on your favorite lube onto the contact for the lock/ tang and help it some.
I don't carry a knife.

Didn't this just get covered in the "beater" thread?
Anyway, one of about 3 or 4 various MT otfs (DE Scarab, DE UT, regular UT7, regular Scarab) or a Benchmade 4550 (or is it 3550? the little Pardue spearpoint auto), a first run Benchmade Osbourne axis lock with blue anodized liners, once in while a UMS auto with grip tape removed, rarely a Buck Crosslock tanto or double bladed, occassionally a Leatherman Wave... there's a couple others, nothing over $400 though. Most of them half as much, a few like $45. Oh yeah, and a Browning open frame liner lock tanto... no idea the model, or a UTX.
And for "dressy occassions," a Makora with abalone and mop.
I don't have many knives that I do not carry at least sometimes. Only the fixed blades.

It used to be a Super Tinkerer, Charge XTI, and a SnG of some flavor or another. Now it's all the same but I've been carrying a Spec Bump instead of the SnG. I really like the blade shape on them and don't mind the HUGE clip after I cut half of it off.:jdsmokin: I've got a green Bump on order too I'm thinkin.

I almost always have two knives on me, a folder and a small fixed blade.
Folders: Large classic Sebenza or Strider SNG.
Fixed: BM Snody 210 in a nice little By Brown kydex sheath or a small persian stlye custom from Cyro75 in kydex and sometimes my Gene Ingram elephant toenail (now that I have a nice sheath for it, thanks to Ken).
Lighting: Fenix L1P
In my Fatboy is usually another fixed blade, Gladius, LM Juice CS4, SureFire spare 123 carrier, a couple of phones, gum, some basic first aid stuff, USPS shipping labels, wallet, lanyards to sell and samples of paracord, Bronton Helios lighter, cigar cutter/plug cutter, cigars, matches, pad/pen, keys, glasses/sun glasses....
Hey all,
WTFs up with the sites as of late? Anyways...
I've been EDC'n a Harsey T-2 in the right front pocket. Have an Activator in my laptop bag with a SAK Ranger. - Got Buck 110 in the truck with a SAK Super Tinker. I'll probably switch out everything in short time except the Harsey. It's holding up to beater use quite well.

left front pocket, usually just change, sometimes my Spec Ops Wallet jr. Right front pocket, my keys, just my SUV door and ignition keys on a small ring with a Photon micro light. My cash, when I have it:cry: , and either my Benchmade Sequel 707 (M-F edc), Spyderco Native III (weekend edc), Spyderco Manix (home edc). Back left pocket usually has either my Buck 303 (back pocket slippie edc) or my Queen small cocobolo stockman (special carry edc). My back right pocket usually has a handkerchief. Always have my Freestyle Shark Fieldmaster watch.

The last few months, mainly the BM 610 RUKUS, or a Cooglarized Strider AR. Always a EKI Lagriffe on neck and a Leatherman Wave and LED on belt.

Got a pic of the AR?
When I am at work, I carry in a Kydex neck sheath that Peter Atwood made for me, an Atwood Solar Arc. (it meets the Boston 2.5 inch blade length law.), and THAT is the only knife I carry at work. I feel naked with just one knife too. At home, I usually have a small Sebbie on me, and another knife. However, that has changed with the arrival of my Mini-Manix & Ritter M2 Mini-grip, which I have on me now.
Today it is a Mini-Manix & a Rittter M2 Mini-grip.

I did!
But my edc has changed since then. In fact, it changes several times a day. And no way am I going into my cp and changing the edc line every time cause, frankly, I'm lazy. If wanted that kind of commitment I'd mail-order a bride.

I was just reading through this post and noticed that ArchAngel carries the same two folders I carry. Not at the same time, of course. My Strider AR is a standard model as is the BM 610. I really dig it when I can pull out either one at the office and see the faces..............PRICELESS!!:evilness: :ronl: :wes:

Unfortunately, where I work, no knives are allowed. I promptly hang this Tom Krein necker around my neck, as soon as I get to the parking lot, however. CPM 3V blade and silver twill G10.

Pocketknifewise, I clip a Spyderco carbon fiber Police model to my pocket. This custom Krein just came in yesterday, and I just might have to rotate it with the silver twill version. This one is also CPM 3V, but has blue twill G10.

Been carrying this for over a year; it's well made, slim, and cuts like you wouldn't believe. I'm thinking I may get a UTX-70 or even a Troodon to carry soon, if they ever come out...

Dylan, that Bailey Bradshaw folder kicks some major ass! I'm gonna have to talk to Bailey at the Blade show and have him make me something very similar. ;) :)

I have been carrying a Dozier NY Special. This morning however, I received a Dozier Agent. I will be carrying the Agent going forward because the handle fits my hand better and the grind of the Agent appears less threatening than that on the NY Special.

Always have my Tom Krein HAK on my neck. During the work week, a SnG on my belt. Otherwise, my Hinderer Inferno.
An Atwood prybaby on my key ring and a Surefire E2 Executive light.

lately it has been a D B Fraley Deluge flipper with 3.5" blade, and/or a Mike Draper SandStorm with a 15N20/1084 damascus blade(3.9"), and ti handle with same damascus inlays I had him make for me, a LM 307X knife, LM Juice Pro, LM micra Kershaw Chive with boron carbide is my money clip. Last but not least always carry an auto in my back pocket being either a Severtech with camo handles or MT Scarab pe satin finish.
Next week it could be a different custom depending on the mood. And yes I use my customs as feel they are a tool to be used.
