When I can legally carry a knife my EDC atm is the little Bark's River TUSK and the Anza (made from files) which are close to being in the middle.

Any of the middle knives except the glock might be on my belt a long with a few TOPs blades that I have not taken pictures of yet, though I have been using the Kershaw Whiplash as well. It has a very nice feel in the hand and is pretty well made for the price.

My folders that are my EDC are all under twenty-five bucks as I do not want to have to hesitate to throw it out the car window or pitch it down a storm drain. The LEOs are fucking pricks in Maryland about what you can legally carry. It really pisses me off!!!:devilzburn:

Hi Glenn,
Here is the pen:
Description
BM11502: Pen Series - Benchmade Design

Benchmade has come up with some great alternatives to the large, tactical pens. Benchmade Pens have been popular but they are full size. A lot of military shirts have a pocket for a pen and the regular series of Benchmade pens will sometimes be a little large for them. They brought out this series with a slimmer profile and the same refills. This pen features a light, aluminum body and has a pull-off cap and an aggressively pointed end so it can do some real work. Includes pocket clip.

Thanks ! I certainly enjoy it. As for your pen it is sweet ! I just searched around gezz 85 bucks or so for a writing implement, perhaps it will go on the holiday gift list as I can't justify a buy out of the blue for myself, funny enough I would drop the 100 bucks on a family member in a instant. Something about this knife just appeals to me. I've had it in my pocket for the past few weeks, it or the tanto model that is, and every morning that I have another knife laid out for carry that day? This one ends up in my pocket! Also carrying a China made Steel Warrior Cigar Whittler w/locking main blade and have been VERY pleasantly surprised for the $16.00 I spent, and that price was on the high side because I bought it at a convience store.

yeah, mine actually was spurred from an accident, I was testing out the lock, when it first came out. I was a little hesitant because i had never batoned with a folder. all of a sudden I looked down and the thumb paddle was gone, I called cold steel and explained it, they said it was abuse of the knife, sooo i thought about it for a bit, was scrolling through some sites lookin for another knife to buy, and saw a delica wave, and bang. so i went to the garage, dissasembled the knife, vised the blade and got to work with a rat-tail file. slowly. after about an hour of filing and then sandpaper around a dowel. it was finished, first wave test it rocked out so smooth I had a smile on my face like no other, it batons better than most of my small-medium sized fixed blades, so in the woods while camping/hiking, my ESEE junglas is my big knife, and my spartan is my medium duty knife, my esee HEST is my backup :bwah::bwah:

I have owned this spartan since a week after it was released on the market. It has never failed, the lock, nor the blade. i also convexed the edge, the hollow grind comes to a super thin edge but is very strong, aus 8 in general is not the best edge holder, but it sharpens up quickly so i have no problems with it.:semper:

It's from a canadian shop ceramicknife.org, thou you can find very similar ones from Boker called anti-MC and anti-gravity, and some other brand called stone river gears.

I was sworn to secrecy as I was told they are unbelievable pain to make.....Later after I took that oath.... I thought how hard can it be? All you have to do is.....blah, blah, blah....

So I tried it...as my first lanyard ever....I came to realize I was one supremely cocky bastard.

This was the result....after 4 hours straight, burnt up fingers and 5 surgical tools and scissors.

It looks like a hunchbacked zombie that was horribly burned by fire.

Yes, and thanks. At first I though it to be a bit bulky. But without the extension tube, it's not to bad in weight fits nicely in a Maxpedition tote. :semper:

Great for the Jeep rides, as I go into some more unpopulated areas. Never know when I would need some serious light ! :ross:

Oh god yeah, I haven't had any issues beyond the initial stuck trigger, and I EDC it daily. I have gone through many different otf's over the years, and that UT. Its perfect, and has fueled my passon for old school MTs again. I used to think that Tachyons were the only MT's Id like, but I find myself liking more every day.... New microtechs I detest though.....

I broke my wrist years ago, at 16 years old. The fractured bone is the smallest bone in the body and only gets blood via one direction. As a result after 6 months in a cast, it had not healed. Next step was to have a bone graft done, and then 6 more months in the cast. At least my pecker developed some tough skin, and I became ambidextrous!!:shockedevil::ross::devil1:

Anyway, what does this have to do with my edc? The wrist never really healed and is still fractured. When cold weather hits, I have a time dealing with the pain and it really hurts to even thumb open a knife. Ibuprofen really helps as it is the swelling causing the pain. It has only started to bother me the last year. And what does this have to do with anything?

As a result of the above, I have to put my JWS SD-3 up and carry the newest knife I have, arrived on Tuesday, and it is another AFOII plai/satin, with a stealth foldover, deep carry clip attached as of today, and a black widow paracord laynard.

Also have a chestnut bone large Case Gunstock in my left pocket.

Here are some pics, and NO, it's not your eye's, just my pics.

Hi al!

Today it was a Micro UT-X85. Mainly for the coolness OTF action ( I find that if I open and close it a few times it lowers my blood pressure) It also comes in handy for opening up the pesty M&M bags.

Was thinking about a Croosbreed for my Sig 238 and/or Glock 26. I see that Bobby and Corn love em so I think I'll check em out. I wonder if my Glock will fit in it with a 30 round clip?

Hello all, new here. Always gotta look for the EDC threads on a new knife forum.

I was carrying a Spyderco Police model but got rid of it, I finally got bored with it. Started to carry a ProTech Brend Model #1 but found it to be to big for my EDC tastes. Plus I got sick of tearing up my good knives, now I leave them all in the collection and just take them out long enough to clean them and stare at them. Now I stick with smaller, cheaper stuff, like cheap assisted open knives and whatnot. Still throw a Spyderco Native in my pocket now and then, and the Spydercard pretty much never leaves my wallet. I actually kick myself almost every day for not keeping more of them. Years ago Smokey Mountain Knifeworks was selling them at a steal of a price and I must have bought 200 of them. Sold them all for a decent profit of course, but only kept one for myself.

Which in retrospect was a really, really, REALLY, stupid thing to do.

Always have a Leatherman Micro on my keychain, and a Leatherman Wave on my belt. Can't leave home without some type of multi-tool. Sometimes I throw the Vitorinox or the Gerber Multiplier on, but most of the time I stick with the Wave.

But anyhow, I'm "retired" now so I can't technically carry anything "good", but I have such a broad taste that it doesn't bother me to carry cheap stuff. Here's a small selection of what I tend to carry. Old pictures, maybe I should take new ones...

I sharpen it with an Edge Pro equipped with the skinny stones and I go really slow. It would be great if they came out with a half round small stone for the system.
