I saw the movie the Departed on Friday, and it was probably the best movie I've seen all year. Scorcese cut it in a strange way, but it was still very good. A big part of the movie, to me anyway, was the fact that the old guard, Jack Nicholson and Martin Sheen and Alec Baldwin, were passing the torch to Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg. Anyway, the movie was pretty much edge of your seat, and was action packed. The ending, you could see that coming a mile away, but it was still satisfying.

the only ones ive seen are goodfellas, casino and the one where robert de niro is a cabby, i forget the name of that one though.
