Got my first Surefire G2 flashlight, and a Jerzee Devil hat from Ken. Great deal, good guy. I can't wait for twilight so that I can play with my flashlight. Thanks Kalooch!
That is great!! I really like the G2. I am fan of SF to begin with. It is also cool about the hat too!!

I hate kydex. I tolerate it, but it is like a necessary evil to me. At least for neck knives.
Long story short, I did a trade for a Bravo-1, love the knife, hate the sheath. It's a nice kydex sheath, and I like it, but since it is kydex, I can't stand to use it. Figure that one out.
So, I started looking for a custom made sheath. Asked Mike Stewart first if I could get a factory leather sheath for it. He said just the kydex sheath. I believe it was Mike who put me in line to Ken. Ken had some nice sheaths on his site, and after talking with him on the phone, I went for it. It was my first custom sheath, and I didn't really want to spend fifty bucks, but I did so anyway.
When I got it, I thought, hmm. It's a nice sheath, but is it really worth fifty bucks?
:bash:
After using the Bravo-1 in the new sheath for a while over the weekend, let me be the first to say that I am blown away by how much difference a sheath can make. I tried using the kydex sheath, and didn't care for it. Using the leather sheath, it actually makes a big difference. At first I didn't like the belt loop's size, but I quickly grew to like it, easier to get to the Bravo-1 in multi positions. Fits like a glove too. Comfortable on my belt, and I am a big sumbitch. Anyway, not only does this sheath look good, it actually performs well. For my first custom sheath, I am pleasantly surprised.
Now, I am glad I got it at such a price.
Thanks again Ken, and I hope to get some more from you in the future.
