Hello JD folks. I am a knife nut. I collect pocketknives, khukuris, Bark Rivers, Fallkniven's, and some Beckers too. I enjoy modding knives. I've made a few too, but still very amateurish. I make sheaths also.

You may have seen me post on BF as aproy1101, or on KF, Ramanon, EDC, CPF, or Blackhole forums as Fiddleback same as here. I'm pretty new to forums, started posting at the HI section of BF in November. On Ramanon I recently became a moderator of the political section. Most people consider me a conservative, militantly pro-America asshole.

I never knew Bob, but from what I read he was a great guy, and a great loss. I am sorry for your loss. I never saw any of the threads that were inapropriate, but I can tell they were certainly in BAD taste. I am very glad I was blissfully ignorant of the entire situation, and I hope you aren't offended that I am from Ramanon. I am close to the guy who bought it, and I will continue to try to help him 'revive' it. I am not here to interfere, or argue about the past issues, or try any kinda dumbass political bullshit at all. I know and respect many of the members here, and wanted to join rather than lurk in some decietful manner.

I wanted to introduce myself, and be straight up with all of you about who I am. As I said, I'm not here to divide, but to participate.

I'd like to know more about the sale of Rammie. I can't believe someone bought it and that Kevin is truly out of the picture. My friend HD tells me this is so, and I believe him... so, I ain't callin' you a liar. It just seems unlikely, but I'll accept it as true from you and HD until shown otherwise.

Ramanon was sold. The new owner is an old friend from the HI Cantina. Both HD and I believe his age, professionalism, and his complete lack of ties to the previous ownership will be GREAT! I've heard some of the rumours about possible alias accounts and I can't speak to whether they are true or not. I hope they are not true. I believe a clean break from CF will be best for the place. The conservatives over there are pretty quiet actually. Maybe its because I won't shut up! I think the libs are usually more blame-America than pro anything in particular. Thank you for your welcome, and your words. I, and most of the other Ramanoners, didn't even know what was happening. As I said before, being critical of someone recently deceased out of rancor is just wrong, and I'm sorry you guys had to suffer it. Its good to hear you guys don't harbor ill will toward us.

That said, I wanna post here just to post here, not to be the Ramanon guy. There is a lot of heavy knife wisdom here that I'm going to try to soak up. (And some good right wing political views too!:madaddy: ) As I said, if you have any questions, I'll try to answer them. Especially as it pertains to current ownership. I'd rather, though, to be able to freely participate in both without having to watch out for sore toes.
