Yesterday went to the Celtic Festival in JC TN was very disappointed with the blades for sale. All were the BK stuff and just cheap imports.
Time to get Blade magazine again. Wish I could afford to get back into the business again. Scott and I stocked the very best brands we could find. Although it was my business with my work commitments he took over the running of the business. He taught me so much about the knives and every other weekend I was off my job, I would go there. He would always sharpen folks knives free just to get them into the store and have them look around. Many became our best customers.
From his teachings I can sharpen a blade and keep the bevels just right. First time he gave me 10 for sharping a blade.
I know I bit off topic.

Just miss the business. Have been told that no one comes to the market much because we had the very best selection there was to have.
