Since I put down the hard stuff some years ago , I have become something of a connoiseur of root beers....I.B.C. is near the top of the heap.
A lot of the better ones are regional , we have a local brew called 1919 that is only available on tap. I have gotten kegs of it for parties and such , and it is excellent as well. A lot of restraunts have it around here.
Another couple if you ever see them .... Killebrew , brewed by the son of former Minnesota twin slugger Harmon Killebrew. Uses honey for sweetener and is very good. Sprecher (sp.? ) Brewed in the Milwaukee area and available in a lot of the mid west.
And Henry Weinhard makes an excellent root beer.....they are legendary for their beers , done up Seattle way I think , but available all over.
Stewarts is nice and A&W on tap is good , but loses points in the bottle or can. Dad's used to be one of the best to float chunks of vanilla ice cream in , but it isn't sold around here anymore.
Good root beer is another one of lifes simple pleasures.
Just another example of a bad habit morphing into a not so bad habit for me.

Cheers ! :boozer:

If i am out to eat and they have it on tap, i will get a Boylans Creamy Red Birch Beer. This is the best drink that Boylans makes and it is incredible. Never drink their Root Beer. It makes me sick. haha.

You ought to try their Cream Soda , if you like their root beer . The Cream Soda has an intense flavor . Very hard to drink only one.
