Integral sword, like you've not seen before

Got to playin a bit, wanted to make a sword along the lines of the one piece tactikool hawk I made, using a similar idea of

-one piece construction
-tough as heyul
-aesthetically pleasing

Here is what I have so far. Forged from some 5/16" thick 5160, the blade has a slight leaf shape. Let me know what you think :cool:

YOu shooting for a one handed short sword or hand-and-a-half style, OR, is my perspective off so far that the blade is much longer than the picture leads me to believe? The blade/handle ratio seems a little short int eh handle area, but again, it might be my perspective...

Regardless, that is one bad motherfucker.

There's a little bit of lens distortion making the proportions seem off, I'll get specs today. Definately going for a one handed.
