"We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone
get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our
nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of
debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren,
hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense
guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other
liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole
lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they
require a Bill of NON-Rights."

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any
other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but
no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is
based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You
may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc; but
the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a
screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool
manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans
are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in
need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after
generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the
creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes....get an education and go to work....don't expect everyone
else to take care of you!)

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health
care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public
housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If
you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised
if the rest of us kill you back!

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you
rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be
surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where
you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you
to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect
you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational
training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means
that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot
easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created
by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are
from, English is our language......... Learn it !

ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country's history or
heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet,
you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith
at all; with no fear of persecution.

The phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST" is part of our heritage and history, and if you
are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!!

If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don't have to, and nothing
tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it's about time common
sense is allowed to flourish.........

I like, I like. L33731, OH Yeah! Do I notice a filter or whatever they are called? A buddy used to use them. It sure makes it nice at the end. No burned fingers. My avatar is a fly I tied that I call "the doobie". Don't know if it catches fish, but it does great on fisherman.

Do I notice a filter or whatever they are called?
I noticed that as well! In Amsterdam..those 'filters', I've forgotten what they are called too, are the way! They are in every shop, like a "complimentary", Thank You for buying here, thingy. It really helps out.

What about guns , baby ?
You have the right to tell me who to shoot at , but leave the caliber and ballistics to me.
I have had weapons nearly all my life and have up till now used them in a responsible and safe manner.
Because they don't fit in your view of utopia doesn't mean I will abide by any legislation I find offensive , oppressive or just plain silly.
I am not refering to you personally when I type " you " or " your "......as soon as the silly fucks who write laws realize that they are trying to control a segment of society who have to this point shown the law no regard , the sooner thay will see the wisdom of my reasoning.

Those of us occasional visitors to your fair shores could be forgiven for thinking that the national language is spanish or anything but english - I have been been to Miami and couldn't order a meal in restaurant and the same in parts of LA, I've had taxi drivers in Seattle, Houston and New York who not only didn't speak much english but also didn't know where they were going (although this seems to be a worldwide phenomena now...)

Still a great place to visit and I'm sure to live in as well.

I have a dim and distant recollection of it being called a roach too - way to long ago...

Love it!
Although, I wish we could all get choose one person on our own, so long as it's not for profit. Like:

"He was slapping around my daughter, so I buried a hatchet in his head".
"OK Sir, that was your one and only free kill, don't do it again. You're free to go, here's your hatchet back".

or

"I woke up to take a piss, and noticed this fucker stealing the tires off my truck, so I shot him, right from the bathroom window. I used my crossbow, 'cause I didn't want to wake the neighbors".
"Good job Sir, that was your one and only free kill, don't do it again. You're free to go, here's your bolt back".

I've heard that it effects your memory, you probably had it for breakfast!

Welcome to the forum. I've been to Kenya twice, back in the early 80's. Had a lot of fun there.

Thanks Bobert - breakfast seems like a hell of a long time ago.

Kenya is still a fun place to be...

What you described here is called BIGOTRY. It’s also a misuse of power by Congress. A FELONY and of course punishable by pain of imprisonment.

Well, it’s not often you hear such intellect and TRUE understanding of the way of our nation from a young lady named beergoddess. :right: I have read many of your posts and am not surprised. This is the JD…..and this is how we roll. :bang:

Small correction if you don’t mind.
------------------------------------------------
:fixed:

ARTICLE VI:

if the rest of us kill you back!
------------------------------------------------
To kill is moral to murder is not. So you could intentionally kill someone and be justified within the law. Self defense, war, etc. etc.

Yes I know it’s a 3 1/2 year old thread. But timeless is timeless and this is timeless. Or something……like that. :decoder:

Ron thanks for bringing it back up to the top.
