View Full Version : "Jerzee Devil" EDC Drop Point Knives

J. Neilson
07-10-2006, 10:46 AM
Well, here they are. I currently have four more of these available. They will be ready to be shipped out next Monday and I will make more as requested. This design is exclusively for the JerzeeDevil forums and will not be available from me anywhere else.

These Drop Point EDCs are 7 1/8" overall, forged from 1/8" thick 1084 high carbon steel. The knives have a 3 1/8" clay-quenched cutting edge and a rounded thumb depression on the spine. The handles are sided with red dyed Bone scales, black liners and seated with stainless steel handle bolts. The sheaths, by Tess, are our "universal" carry design pouch sheath in black leather with the "Jerzee Devil" logo on both sides of the belt loop so it can be proudly displayed with ever way you carry the knife.

Price, with leather sheath: $250.00, plus shipping.

Visa, MasterCard and Paypal are all fine and your satisfaction is always guaranteed.

Man, your going to make me unpopular around the house. The knife is AWESOME and that sheath is off the hook!!! And I don't usually use that expression

:ernie:

I need to make some things happen and try to claim one of these babies. If anyone is on the fence not knowing if you want to jump or not, I know I am not the only one moving funds around to make this one happen :kingkaxt:

J. Neilson

BIG-TARGET & TheBadGuy-Just let me know guys. It looks like I'll be doing another batch of these so if you don't get one of these but, give me your name, I'll be sure to do one for you. That way if you need time to put cash together, you'll still be guaranteed to get you hands on one. I'll work it out with you...I'm here to make everyone possible happy.

Benny- Nope, to be totally honest, I was planning on doing these in red micarta...and you know what a fan of micarta I am :bwah: But, when I was picking up some stag at the American Knifemakers Supplies booth at the Blade show I saw trays of these bone scales. I saw them and though..."That's Devil Red!!!" and grabbed a batch for these. We broke one in half to make sure the color went all the way through and sure enough it did. I agree, I haven't seen bone dyed this well in quite some time and since I'm a big stickler from natural materials...well, it just rang my bell when I put these scales on.

Carried mine out to the range, behind the back, LEFT handed, w/ JD logo STILL easily visible.

Got many compliments, and most guessed the value at 350-500.
Of course they are right, its just that it doesnt cost us devils that much.
Most people couldnt believe that the handle material was bone, because of the brilliant red color.

Your gonna have to work hard to top this one J., yet I know, somehow, you will.

As a matter of fact.....Tess is getting a kydex set up very soon from a fella who's giving it up. I'm not a big kydex fan but, I can see it's uses in some applications.
Just like the horrible stainless steel stuff. :jdvomit:

If Tess isn't set up for kydex by then, I have a friend who does kydex all the time and I can have him do it but, I think Tess'll have hers. I've got an idea for an almost tactical set up with kydex.......more on that later though.

no, me :)

i love kydex though, good to hear you will be in the kydex game soon...the options, from one mold sheath you can add screw holes, use a tec loc and do anything you want with it...I have a little foam thing and boards with clamps, use a heatgun and a rivet press to make sheaths just for me. I love it, I like making leather too, just harder and longer to make and Im not good at it.

J. Neilson
11-07-2006, 11:41 PM
Well, we're pretty traditional around here but, I like to try out new things... which explains alot of the stuff you see on our web site.
:jdwink2:

I actually did order a kydex sheath for a necker a friend (Mike Spangler) is making me out of stainless damascus. I screwed up one of my very first lock-back folders out on the ocean so I figure this can be my sea-going knife.

J, I got one in a trade this week from Guillermo, I just have to say, this one of the sweetest knives I have ever seen. I'm going to do a review after I use it, but I do not expect anything bad. Being a big fan of thicker blades, I was pleasantly surprised at the 1084 blade. And, your wife is one hell of a sheath maker. I am not a fan of cross draw carry, but I will try it for this one. Not only is the JD logo cool on the loop, the sheath is tight, but not too tight, and, man, it is just a great sheath! Before I got it, I was going to contact you about you putting a lanyard hole on it, but have decided not to. This knife is perfect as is.

(I got a Neilson knife, I got a Neilson knife, I got a Neilson knife)
