Christmas Gift

I am amazed by the quality of work and great people in this thread. :thumbsup:

In that note I am looking to get a purse / handbag for my mother for Christmas that is of quality as her last few have only lasted one or two years. She is a simple person and wants something that will last but not be overly large, fancy, or "namebrand" per say. This is what she has / had and is looking for something similar (approx. size: 9 x 6 x 3.5). Notice how the fake leather strap has broken.

Try Saddleback Leather. They're more geared toward satchels, etc, but you may find something that'll work.

Their stuff is pricey, but it's guaranteed for 100 years. ("Have your grandkids return it to our grandkids."

Their quality is second to none.

Thanks. I have two pieces from them and can't agree more. Their bag is huge (about 5 lbs for the small), maybe they will eventually come out with something smaller.
